| Environmental school Regina
The environmental school promotes sustainable development and environment education in schools. Target groups can be e.g. schools, kindergartens, professional educators, students and adult groups.
The primary goal in environmental school is to learn about sustainable way of life and the interaction between people and environment. The approach to nature is not only of natural science but also interdisciplinary, multi-formed, playful and artistic. Different dimensions are history, the present time and the future. Teaching is based on doing concrete things and on actions.
Activities from fairytale adventures to educational programmes
The environmental school offers environmental education to children through different activities and fairytale like adventures. All activity programmes support the general curriculum. A little bit of excitement and drama has been added to each activity to keep children interested.
